In the early 2000s, a group of politicians was given the nickname ‘the Notting Hill set’ because they used to live in the area. They included former Prime Minister David Cameron and former Chancellor George Osborne.
Notting Hill lies in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and is served by numerous bus routes and a clutch of underground stations. They are Notting Hill Gate (Circle, District and Central lines), Westbourne Park station (Circle and Hammersmith and City lines) and Ladbroke Grove station (Circle and Hammersmith and City lines).
