They are served by the Bakerloo, Circle, District and Hammersmith and City lines. Lancaster Gate tube station is also in the Paddington area and is served by the Central line. More than ten bus routes pass through this part of London.
Paddington is also connected to the Grand Union Canal, which stretches from London to Birmingham.

Alexander Fleming Laboratory Museum - visit the lab where Fleming made his discovery in 1928, reconstructed to look as it would've when the Nobel prize winner was working there.
Little Venice – a canal-side district with an excellent choice of bars and restaurants.
St. Mary's Church - a late 18th-century church designed by architect John Plaw.
Puppet Theatre Barge - a 50-seat marionette theatre on a barge in Little Venice.
Merchant Square - an attractive canal-side development of homes, swanky offices, bars and restaurants. Highlights include a water maze, paddle boarding and the Floating Pocket Park. This is a 730 square metre green space on the water with open lawn areas, communal benches, flowerbeds, decked platforms, walkways, a canal boat mooring and a pontoon designed to attract birds.
